فرماندهی کل انتظامی کشور با انتشار پیامی با سومین رهبر جمهوری اسلامی ایران بیعت کرد.
در پی انتخاب حضرت آیت‌الله العظمی سید مجتبی خامنه ای به‌عنوان ولی فقیه زمان و رهبر نظام مقدس جمهوری اسلامی ایران از سوی مجلس خبرگان رهبری؛ فرماندهی کل انتظامی کشور طی بیانیه‌ای ضمن تبریک این انتخاب شایسته به محضر مبارک حضرت ولی‌عصر( عج)، ملت بزرگ ایران و آزادگان جهان مراتب بیعت خالصانه و تا پای جان را با فرمانده کل قوا اعلام نموده و تأکید می‌نماید که همچون دوران رهبری امام امت و قائد شهید، گوش به فرمان و آماده اجرای فرامین و منویات صادره معظم له خواهند بود.
